Our souvenir or student doctoral gowns are styled similar to our faculty gowns in that they have an open sleeve; however the material is thinner, the velvet is thinner and narrower, and the gown is not designed to be worn repeatedly throughout one's career.

However, it is an excellent budget gown for the price, perfect for students who will be graduating with a doctorate but not going into academia, and thus only need to wear their gown a few times.

The cost of the student (souvenir) doctoral gown is $95.00

For faculty members or grad students who will become faculty members in the future, re reccomend the faculty quality gown or the deluxe academic gown as these are will last longer and look better long term.

Available in black with black velvet. If not ordering a tam, we will upon request include a mortarboard & tassel at no charge with purchase of doctoral gown.
